Agriturismo Il Torrente near Perugia is part of the family-run Azienda Demetra, dedicated to the production of saffron, blackberries and raspberries and a variety of vegetables. These are all grown and consumed locally in both winter and summer. The spirit behind our entrepreneurial initiative is to offer a sense of local flavours combined with the constant pursuit of quality and excellence. We have created a small, natural agricultural oasis without the use of chemicals. All agricultural activities are done using traditional and natural methods. The aim is to rediscover authentic and genuine flavours that have been lost over time.
